Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until creamy and fluffy.
- Crack in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract. Beat until light and airy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
- Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown.
