Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz chocolate (milk, dark, or white) for coating
- Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or plastic bag until fine crumbs form.
- Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well integrated.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about one inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring often.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place back on the parchment-lined tray.
- Add toppings before the chocolate hardens.
- Chill in the refrigerator until the coating is firm, usually about 30 minutes.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Experiment with different chocolate types for varied flavors!
