Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl and stir in the milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Lightly grease the waffle iron if necessary and pour the batter into the hot waffle iron.
- Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
