Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl and stir in the milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle iron if necessary and pour the batter into the hot waffle iron.
  6. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings like syrup, whipped cream, or fresh fruit.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter and preheat the iron for crispy waffles.
