Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  5. Add uncooked rice and chicken broth, stirring well.
  6. Nestle the seared chicken back into the skillet.
  7. Drizzle remaining sauce over chicken, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.

Notes

For added nutrition, consider tossing in vegetables like bell peppers during the sautéing process.
