Instructions
- Start by cooking your rice according to the package instructions.
- Cut the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the oil.
- Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and cook until golden brown, flipping halfway.
- Mix the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and water in a bowl. If thicker sauce is desired, stir in cornstarch.
- Pour the sauce into the pan once the chicken is cooked, stirring gently to coat.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, then add veggies and cook for a few more minutes.
- Serve rice in bowls, top with chicken and sauce, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
