- 3–4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- Optional Red Pepper Flakes for heat
- 2 stalks Green Onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Neutral Oil (Canola or Avocado)
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Mince the garlic and chop the green onions.
- Cook the Ground Turkey: Heat neutral oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic and Sauce: Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Pour in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- Thicken the Sauce: Let the mixture simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, adding red pepper flakes as desired.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice, quinoa, or leafy greens.
Notes
Optional to marinate the turkey in soy sauce and garlic for enhanced flavor. Adjust red pepper flakes based on heat preference.
