Description

A delightful balance of sweet honey and spicy red pepper flakes, this Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta combines tender chicken with creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta for a gourmet meal at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice into strips.
  3. Add honey and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet, stir well, then pour in heavy cream while stirring until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce and toss until well coated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For milder heat, start with 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes; adjust to taste. To save time, cook chicken and pasta simultaneously.
