Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  6. Drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between cookies.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Use unsweetened cocoa powder for a deeper chocolate flavor. Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
