Description

Delicious cookies that capture the rich flavors of hot cocoa with gooey chocolate chips and fluffy marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Mini marshmallows for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets and add mini marshmallows on top.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Let them cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
