Description

A delightful dish combining sweet honey and mild heat, featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a luscious glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in the prepared dish with half of the honey mixture.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Heat the remaining honey mixture in a saucepan until it thickens slightly.
  6. Serve the chicken drizzled with thickened honey sauce, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked properly. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
