- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Coat the chicken breasts in the prepared dish with half of the honey mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Heat the remaining honey mixture in a saucepan until it thickens slightly.
- Serve the chicken drizzled with thickened honey sauce, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked properly. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
