- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup whiskey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the whiskey, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- After the whiskey has reduced slightly, stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer until it thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the pan, coating it in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
