- 1 package Gnocchi
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 can Crushed Tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef, and cook until browned.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Combine the sauce with cooked gnocchi in a large baking dish and mix well.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes. Ensure gnocchi are cooked al dente before baking.
