Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Bowtie Pasta
- 2 cups Beef Broth (can substitute with vegetable broth)
- 1 lb Ground Beef (can substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (can substitute with soy sauce)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (fresh minced garlic can be used)
- 1 tsp Onion Powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning (can use individual herbs)
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (can substitute with Pecorino Romano)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked bowtie pasta and half of the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, consider adding non-dairy milk or half-and-half instead of cream. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
