Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Ground Beef or Turkey
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 cup Almond Flour
- 1 large Egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Spinach
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, garlic powder, onion powder, almond flour, egg, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the spinach and fresh basil to the sauce, cooking until the spinach wilts.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet with the creamy sauce, stirring gently to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, avoid overmixing the meatball ingredients to keep them tender.
