Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 10–12 small flour or corn tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Stir until creamy.
- If using corn tortillas, warm them in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make them pliable.
- Place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling on the lower third of each tortilla. Tightly roll the tortilla and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Lightly brush or spray each taquito with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Experiment with fillings and spices according to your preferences. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
