- 4 cups chicken broth

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the pastina, dried basil, and dried oregano.
- Reduce heat to low and let it simmer until the pastina is cooked, about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
