Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large mango (fresh or 1 cup frozen, peeled and chopped)
  • 2 habanero peppers (seeded for less heat)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced or crushed)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped mango, habanero peppers, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, and salt.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before blending until smooth.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  7. Let cool completely before transferring to a jar for storage.

Notes
