Description

Sweet and savory bites made with tender chicken wrapped in crispy bacon and glazed with maple syrup.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, tossing until evenly coated.
  3. Wrap a half slice of bacon around each chicken piece and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup and soy sauce for the glaze.
  5. Place the wrapped chicken on a lined baking sheet and brush with the maple glaze.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Drizzle remaining glaze over the bites and garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

Use thick-cut bacon for extra crunch and don’t overcrowd the baking sheet.
