Description
A rich, creamy Marry Me Tortellini recipe with cheesy pasta, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, or special occasions.
Ingredients
9 oz cheese tortellini
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
3/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook tortellini in salted water until tender, then drain.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
3. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1–2 minutes.
4. Pour in broth and simmer for 3 minutes.
5. Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.
6. Mix in parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
7. Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat.
8. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
You can use whole wheat or spinach tortellini for extra nutrition.
Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or Italian sausage for a protein boost.
To make ahead, prepare the sauce separately and combine with fresh-cooked tortellini before serving.
