Description
Luxurious and creamy gnocchi made with fresh ingredients for a quick yet indulgent meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Potato Gnocchi (fresh for better texture)
- 2 tablespoons Butter (adds richness to the sauce)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (for frying)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (can substitute with half-and-half for lighter)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated; can use vegan Parmesan)
- 1 teaspoon Rosemary (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Parsley (chopped)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add your gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions until they float. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce, tossing gently to coat. Season with rosemary, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Transfer to serving plates and enjoy!
Notes
Fresh gnocchi provides a light texture; avoid overcooking them. Adjust seasoning based on personal preference.
