- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate ganache
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, then add vanilla and egg.
- Slowly mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of dark chocolate ganache in the center, wrapping the dough around it.
- Place on prepared baking sheet making sure to leave space between cookie balls, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack; dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For better results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overbaking for a gooey center.
