Description

A flaky, buttery croissant filled with creamy mozzarella and smoky pepperoni, perfect for brunch, snacks, or party platters.

Ingredients

Scale

1 package (8 pieces) croissant dough – homemade or store-bought

1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese

1620 slices thin-cut pepperoni

1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll croissant dough triangles out on a lightly floured surface.

3. Place mozzarella near the wide end of each triangle.

4. Layer 2–3 slices of pepperoni over the cheese.

5. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder if using.

6. Roll dough from wide end to tip, tucking filling inside and pressing tip to seal.

7. Brush tops with beaten egg.

8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed.

9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flakiness, chill rolled croissants for 10 minutes before baking.

Can be frozen before or after baking for up to 2 months.

Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5–7 minutes to restore crispness.
