Description

A delightful stir-fry that combines earthy mushrooms and protein-packed tofu, bursting with flavor from garlic and ginger.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz firm tofu, cubed
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Optional vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Toss in sliced mushrooms, minced garlic, and grated ginger, and sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and stir, allowing flavors to meld for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add optional vegetables and sauté until desired doneness.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, press tofu for 15-20 minutes for a crispier texture. Customize with any vegetables you have on hand.
