Ingredients

- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup queso cheese sauce
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in rice and toast for about 2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in cooked steak and queso cheese sauce until well combined.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
Consider using flank steak or sirloin for tenderness. Adjust seasoning to taste, and add fresh ingredients for enhanced flavor.
