Description

A delicious and satisfying dish combining tender steak bites with creamy queso, served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup queso cheese sauce
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in rice and toast for about 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  8. Stir in cooked steak and queso cheese sauce until well combined.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Consider using flank steak or sirloin for tenderness. Adjust seasoning to taste, and add fresh ingredients for enhanced flavor.
