- 15 ounces diced tomatoes (with juices)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until mostly cooked.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes with juices. Stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth, add the bay leaf, and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then stir in elbow macaroni.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Remove bay leaf and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
