Description

Crispy phyllo pastry rolls filled with creamy feta cheese, honey, and chili flakes for a delightful appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese
  • 8 sheets phyllo pastry
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the feta cheese, honey, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo pastry and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of the phyllo and roll it up, folding in the sides to seal it.
  5. Repeat with remaining filling and pastry.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with extra chili honey if desired.
