- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and vanilla extract.
- Grease a baking dish and layer the torn croissants.
- Sprinkle the cooked bacon or sausage, shredded cheese, and parsley over the croissant pieces.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and toppings.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the plastic wrap and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and lightly browned on top.
