  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon or sausage, crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and vanilla extract.
  2. Grease a baking dish and layer the torn croissants.
  3. Sprinkle the cooked bacon or sausage, shredded cheese, and parsley over the croissant pieces.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and toppings.
