Description

A delicious and nutritious salmon dish with a crispy Parmesan and basil crust, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets of salmon (6 oz each)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried basil)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and drizzle olive oil over each fillet.
  4. Press the Parmesan and basil mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the fillets skin-side down.
  6. Cook the salmon for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Carefully remove the salmon and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use wild-caught salmon for superior flavor and omega-3 fatty acids. Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
