- 8 ounces pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grilled chicken (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and add 8 ounces of pasta. Cook according to package instructions, then drain and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with 2 cups of chopped romaine lettuce, 1/2 cup of halved cherry tomatoes, and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
- Drizzle 1/4 cup of Caesar dressing over the salad mix and toss gently until well coated.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, top the salad with grilled chicken. Serve immediately.
Notes
To keep the salad fresh, dress it just before serving. For added versatility, experiment with greens or proteins.
