Description

A comforting chicken noodle soup loaded with tender chicken, hearty egg noodles, and wholesome vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast
  • 8 cups Chicken Broth
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 12 oz Egg Noodles
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, carrots, celery, and minced garlic; sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Add the chicken breast pieces into the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it, and then stir in the egg noodles; cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.
  5. Return the chicken to the pot, season with salt, black pepper, and parsley; simmer to combine flavors.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
