- 1 lb Chicken Breast
- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Celery, chopped
- 1 cup Carrots, chopped
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 12 oz Egg Noodles
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, carrots, celery, and minced garlic; sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add the chicken breast pieces into the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and then stir in the egg noodles; cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Return the chicken to the pot, season with salt, black pepper, and parsley; simmer to combine flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
