Description

A warm and moist dessert combining the flavors of fresh peaches and buttery cake, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 cups Fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour.
  6. Fold in the diced peaches and cinnamon if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
