A warm and cozy peach cobbler made with canned peaches, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in juice or light syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving, as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and melt the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the flour, ½ cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a separate bowl until smooth.
  3. Drain the peaches and toss them with the remaining ½ cup of sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish without stirring. Spoon the peaches and their juice on top.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Use high-quality peaches for the best flavor. Consider adding nutmeg or other fruits for variation.
