- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt, stirring until just combined.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter with white sugar until well combined.
- Stir in cocoa powder, another egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt, followed by chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate both doughs for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop small blobs of each dough onto a baking sheet and swirl with a toothpick.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes and cool on the baking sheet before serving.
Notes
Chilling the dough helps prevent spreading. Use quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
