Description

This Peanut Butter Jelly Stuffed French Toast Recipe combines creamy peanut butter, sweet jam, and golden French toast for the perfect breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Scale

8 slices brioche or challah bread

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup strawberry or grape jelly

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk or heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp unsalted butter

Powdered sugar (for topping)

Fresh berries (optional)

Instructions

1. Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread and jelly on another, then press together to make sandwiches.

2. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl until smooth.

3. Dip each PB&J sandwich into the custard, coating both sides.

4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

5. Cook each sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.

6. Transfer to a plate, dust with powdered sugar, and add fresh berries.

7. Serve with maple syrup or honey if desired.

Notes

Use day-old bread to prevent sogginess and improve texture.

You can substitute almond or cashew butter for peanut butter.

Try adding banana slices inside the sandwich for extra flavor.
