- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt to the butter mixture and stir until combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the brownie layer and gently spread it out.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer, spreading it to cover completely.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
