  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or corn syrup
  • 8 whole pecans for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon (if using). Stir until bubbling, creating a rich, caramel-like texture.
