Description

Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 23 green chilies, slit
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 23 tbsp oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Incorporate garlic and ginger; sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add tomatoes and green chilies; cook until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Include the ground beef and stir until browned.
  6. Stir in diced potatoes, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt.
  7. Add water as needed; cover and cook on low heat until potatoes are tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
