Description
Delightful bites of creamy mozzarella wrapped in crispy prosciutto, balanced with savory herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package prosciutto
- 1 package mozzarella balls (about 12 oz)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Open the package of prosciutto, gently separate the slices, and lay them flat on a clean surface.
- Drain the mozzarella balls and, if they are large, cut them in half for easier wrapping.
- Place one mozzarella ball in the center of each prosciutto slice and carefully wrap the prosciutto around it, ensuring it’s fully enclosed.
- In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add the oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper, and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Lightly brush the seasoned olive oil mixture over each prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bite.
- Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced slightly apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, and, if desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the warm, savory bites.

Choose quality ingredients for the best flavor. Allow bites to cool slightly before serving to avoid burning your mouth.
