- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon, then spread raspberries evenly across the surface.
- Roll up the rectangle tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place them in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
