- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups filtered water (divided)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Puree the sliced peaches in a blender until smooth. Optionally, strain the puree for a silkier texture.
- Juice the lemons to get about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- Heat 1 cup of water with the sugar in a saucepan until fully dissolved, then let cool.
- Combine the peach puree, lemon juice, cooled sugar-water mixture, and remaining 3 cups of cold water in a pitcher. Stir until mixed.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
Notes
For a fizzy twist, add a splash of sparkling water. Consider chilling all ingredients before mixing.
