Description

A delightful twist on the classic Reuben, featuring corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut in soft pretzel buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slider-sized pretzel buns
  • 1 lb cooked corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice the pretzel buns in half.
  2. On the bottom half of each bun, layer a slice of Swiss cheese, followed by a generous amount of corned beef, and then top with sauerkraut.
  3. Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
  4. Cap it off with the other half of the bun, pressing gently to secure the fillings.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle caraway seeds on top if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a milder flavor, substitute sauerkraut with coleslaw. Can prepare in advance and refrigerate before baking.
