Description

Indulgent strawberry truffles featuring juicy strawberries coated in a creamy filling and wrapped in silky dark chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries carefully, leaving the green stems intact.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; whip until smooth.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the cream cheese mixture, coat well, and place on a plate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  4. Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a double boiler or microwave.
  5. Once chilled, dip strawberries in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Place chocolate-coated strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
