Description

A delicious vegetable side dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts drizzled with a sweet and tangy honey balsamic glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  3. In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they are well coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer to ensure even roasting.
  5. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown and tender. Stir them halfway through for even cooking.
  6. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and balsamic vinegar and heat until it thickens slightly, stirring frequently.
  7. Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, drizzle the honey balsamic glaze over the top before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup. Consider adding garlic powder or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
