- 2 large jalapeños (stems removed, sliced in half, seeded)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon whole-grain Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried chives
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place halved jalapeños on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, tossing lightly.
- Roast for about 12 minutes until soft and slightly charred.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with roasted jalapeños once cooled.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, chives, parsley, garlic powder, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before transferring to a serving dish.
Notes
Letting the dip chill for at least an hour allows the flavors to meld beautifully. It can be served warm or cold.
