Description

A delicious and simple meal featuring succulent salmon fillets with zesty lemon and aromatic garlic, finished with rich butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Place the salmon skin-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil.
  3. Nestle lemon slices around the salmon.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  6. Pour three-quarters of the buttery mixture over the salmon, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Seal the foil pack tightly and bake on a baking sheet for about 17 minutes.
  8. Open the pack carefully to avoid steam burns.
  9. Switch your oven to broil, then spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon and broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Choose quality salmon for the best flavor and avoid overcooking to maintain moisture.
