Description

This Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon is an easy-to-make dish that combines the bright flavors of lemon, garlic, and butter, ensuring a tender and flaky salmon every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Place the salmon skin-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil, making sure to raise the edges to create a foil pack.
  3. Nestle lemon slices around the salmon.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and stir in lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic.
  5. Pour three-quarters of the mixture over the salmon, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Seal the foil pack tightly, then bake on a baking sheet for about 17 minutes.
  7. Open the pack carefully, switch the oven to broil, and spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the salmon; use fresh ingredients for the best flavor; and ensure the foil pack is sealed well to trap moisture.
