- 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place the salmon skin-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil, making sure to raise the edges to create a foil pack.
- Nestle lemon slices around the salmon.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and stir in lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic.
- Pour three-quarters of the mixture over the salmon, and season with salt and pepper.
- Seal the foil pack tightly, then bake on a baking sheet for about 17 minutes.
- Open the pack carefully, switch the oven to broil, and spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
