- 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the salmon skin-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Nestle the lemon slices around the salmon.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and stir in lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic.
- Pour three-quarters of the buttery mixture over the salmon and season it with salt and pepper.
- Seal the foil pack tightly and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 17 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Open the foil pack and broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
