- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Cooked pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- Crusty garlic bread
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing until well coated with the sauce.
- Divide shrimp and pasta into bowls, garnish with parsley, and serve with garlic bread.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Adjust garlic and lemon to taste.
