- 2 lbs beef stew meat or sirloin, cubed
- 1½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the beef chunks generously with salt, pepper, onion powder, and thyme. In a large bowl, mix well and then place in the slow cooker with the halved baby potatoes.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this sauce over the beef and potatoes.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until the beef is fork-tender and the potatoes are soft.
- Before serving, stir gently and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for garnish.
