Description
A simple and delicious slow-cooked honey garlic chicken served with fresh green beans.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the green beans, stirring to coat them in the sauce.
- Once cooked, serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and let the sauce simmer uncovered for a few minutes before serving. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra flavor.
